Work Islands
A work area this vital and heavily used deserves careful consideration and planning. Input from all staff members is seriously recommended. Ergonomics, configuration, placement and accessories can make your clinic much more efficient.
Things to think about when designing a work island:
- Where is the plumbing coming from (ceiling or floor)
- Configuration of door and drawer location (accessibility)
- Outlet and plug placements (keep things at your finger tips)
- Working height (do you sit most of the time? Are you taller than average?)
- What will make your tasks easier? (ergonomics)

All Columns
- Body constructed of 18 gauge type 304 stainless steel
- Most have inner removable panels allowing access to plumbing and wiring (ask for specs)
- Most columns are built 84” H
- No matter if plumbing & electrical components come up from floor or down from ceiling, they are run though the utility chambers and are accessed through removable panels. (Don’t worry if your plumbing is already roughed in. We can match it )
- Adjustable shelving allows you to change shelf spacing
